POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to join our Indianapolis Operations Team. This position is responsible for successfully aligning HR goals to the goals of the business. This role will be tasked with supporting the attraction, retention, development, and management of talent within their respective business units. In addition, this position will act as a liaison with the employee and will consult with plant management on human resource-related topics.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Successfully aligns HR goals to that of the business
  • Actively champions HR business model. Develop and apply effective HR process workflows locally that result in acceptable customer satisfaction and continuous improvement within the HR department. Processes should be efficient, sustainable, scalable, and aligned to the Segment where possible to allow for consistency, and data visibility
  • Leads local management teams in utilizing the right processes, aligned with HR Strategy for performance management, training, engagement, hiring and selection, employee/organizational development, compensation, promotions, organizational changes, corrective actions, and terminations
  • Partners with the local management team to effectively deliver performance management (Perform and Grow) along with training and development opportunities for leaders and employees
  • Manages the delivery of HR services to employees and ensure a high degree of employee satisfaction with overall service delivery
  • Manages and supports the local implementation and adoption of HRIS Systems and processes. (SAP, ADP, Employee Central Suite, LMS, Perform &Grow)
  • Leads and facilitates the local communication process in partnership with the local leadership team



REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred area of study is Human Resources
  • 7-10 years of previous experience in Human Resources
  • HR professional certifications such as: PHR, SHRM CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) Transaction or SAP Success Factors experience preferred
  • Through knowledge of HRIS systems as well as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency
  • HR experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired
  • Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Change management experience desired
  • English required, and Spanish fluency preferred
