Senior HR Analyst

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Human Resources Analyst, are to:

  • Manage administration of spending accounts including employee HSA and FSA accounts, and the Employer Stock Purchasing Program;
  • Assist with the planning, implementation, and administration of overall Bayer benefit programs such as health, dental, vision, spending accounts, life insurance, employee assistance plan and other plans;
  • Direct external benefit vendors, benefit administrators, and consultants to support benefit plans;
  • Analyze and monitor the effectiveness of benefit programs and recommend changes or enhancements;
  • Track vendor performance metrics and escalate issues and opportunities;
  • Assist with coordinating annual enrollment activities, including implementing plan changes and communications, testing rates and the enrollment website;
  • Manage existing and new projects related to all Health & Welfare and Wellness plans, including implementing new vendor relationships, benefit programs and plan requirements;
  • Manage and monitor independently active employee and retiree inquiries that are escalated from the Bayer Benefits Center, working with other team members to respond in a timely manner to resolve all inquiries and questions;
  • Take ownership for the resolution of those queries ensuring timely, accurate and value add responses;
  • Facilitate presentations to new employees and business resource groups to ensure employees take full advantage of Bayer's various company sponsored benefits;
  • Ensure compliance of benefit administration with federal and state laws including IRS and Department of Labor regulations;
  • Maintain full compliance with all internal controls (ICS). Assist with internal and external audits;
  • Represent Benefits team in various initiatives across the HR Operations organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and 2+ years of related experience OR 7+ years of related experience;
  • Strong customer orientation with proven experience, knowledge of service delivery management, and strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to partner with and support cross functional teams;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment;
  • Extensive experience with applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
