About this role

The Reporting Solutions Analyst at BlackRock will be focused on building out reporting infrastructure and dashboards to support various functions across Human Resources. The Reporting Analyst will actively contribute to requirement gathering, dashboard design and buildout to create scalable data models that that enable insights and decision making. As the role evolves the Reporting Analyst will grow as a key partner to deliver analytics and insights. The role will be part of the Data Solutions team within Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop dashboards, reports, presentations, and visual aids to inform and influence decisions and initiate actionable findings
  • Work with Data Solutions team to develop tactical and long-term data models that facilitate reporting
  • Understand the Workday reporting ecosystem including Workday Prism
  • Develop and write queries to analyze data, perform trend analysis and identify data discrepancies
  • Develop reporting solutions to support cross functional reporting by understanding the connectivity across HR including Talent Management, Headcount, Employee Relations, and operational functions that utilize case management systems.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement key metrics that measure various processes and strategic initiatives


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ideally ~4 years of relevant experience with HR Data and Reporting
  • Ability to manage work with the utmost level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong working experience with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) applications required
  • Strong experience in operational processes, preferably in support of key HR deliverables
  • Acumen in accuracy and attention to detail
  • Adaptable, logical, and capable of flexing solutions to changing demands
  • Comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively anticipate problems and opportunities and confidence to use initiative to pursue solutions
  • Knowledge of Workday Reporting preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Education requirement:

  • BA/BS degree; certifications and course work in specific areas of HR expertise preferred
