The People Team at Chainalysis is dedicated to enabling growth, building an inclusive environment, and providing a transparent culture that helps our employees run fast with all the right information they need. Our job is to make sure Chainalysis has the right talent and framework in place to grow both quickly and thoughtfully.
We are looking to bring on board a People Operations Coordinator to support and drive critical People-related initiatives. This role would be a great fit for a person building their career in HR, and will partner closely with our US-based People Generalist, EMEA-based People Manager, & US-based Director of People Operations on activities that enhance our global culture and reinforce our Company Values.
In this role you will develop the skills to be a stellar People Generalist, while also exploring specific aspects of HR. Our preference is for this role to be based in the NYC area, with at least 1 day in-person every other week in our New York office.

In one year you’ll know you were successful if…

  • You are able to run our new hire onboarding process with minimal guidance, including supporting critical compliance activities, e.g. background verification and visa processes, along with providing administrative support throughout the entire employee lifecycle
  • You ensure data integrity across all people systems, and build reports to help us monitor the health of the organization, this will also include support of our upcoming implementation of Workday
  • You partner with our People Manager on ongoing EMEA-based projects
  • You have learned about and assist with global payroll and US benefits management
  • You seamlessly coordinate new hire activities with our Talent Acquisition team
  • You provide support to our IT team, ensuring employees have the necessary access and equipment to start working with us
  • You supported the People Ops team with global L&D initiatives

A background like this helps…

  • You operate with the highest degree of integrity and build trust easily with people.
  • You’re organized. You have methods to track the progress of various assignments, and ways to remind yourself to follow up.
  • You are solution-oriented - you seek to find a way to get things done, and ask for help when you need it.
  • You communicate frequently and clearly about what’s going on, and don’t let problems fester.
  • You see the value in teamwork over individual achievement, and think about the impact of your actions on those around you.
  • You possess a high level of cultural awareness, and are sensitive to the unique needs of our employees across geographies, and are eager to learn where you may not have awareness
  • You care about making your workplace a better place to work for everyone.
  • You’re comfortable with technology applications and are willing to learn what you don’t know.
  • You have a growth mindset - you see failure as an opportunity to learn and develop.
