Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Manager

Collectors Universe is seeking our first HRIS Manager to manage HR data and systems. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to configure, implement, and manage a new HRIS (Workday) to meet the needs of our growing organization. The ideal candidate has implemented Workday at a fast-growing organization and can use HR data and systems to enable business objectives.
This role will report into the Director of Human Resources and be based out of our Santa Ana, California office.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as primary HRIS system admin and subject matter expert, including ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
- Manage all of CU’s HR data and serve as administrator for current and future HR systems including HRIS (Workday), and payroll/benefits platform (ADP)
- Partner with internal teams, including HR, IT, and Finance, as well as third-party vendors and consultants to implement and maintain Workday
- Collaborate with business leaders to determine reporting needs and deliver data-driven insights to inform decision-making
- Manage employee-facing communications, training, and change management related to the HRIS, serving as the employee point of contact
- Define and manage system security standards, ensuring appropriate and proper levels of access and reporting capabilities for all users
- Ensure we are fully leveraging its HRIS to meet business and talent needs by continuously identifying and implementing improvements in business processes, integrations, and user experience
- Partner with Integration Engineer to maintain and optimize integrations with our other HR systems, including Greenhouse and ADP
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in HR data and systems
- Advanced knowledge of implementing and managing Workday, including configuring business processes and integrations
- A proven people manager to hire and manage an HRIS Analyst
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Effective communicator and project management with the ability to manage change across the organization
- An analytical thinker with an understanding of the flow of data between systems
- Knowledgeable of HR data regulations and best practices
