About the role:
As Executive Search Recruiter, you will own the hiring of senior level executives to the BD organization within North America ensuring an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
The Talent Acquisition team globally hire approx. 12,000 associates a year across sales, marketing, engineering, clinical, functional, and manufacturing roles based across over 70 countries. Operating as a Centre of Excellence within the HR organization, we are approx. 200 recruiting professionals responsible for sourcing, attraction, business partnering, candidate management, employer branding and operational efficiency to attract top talent to BD.
The Executive Search team fills approx. 250 positions a year and in this role, you will partner with the business strategically and as a consultant to source, attract and secure the best talent both internally and externally. Implementing and leading executive searches you will deliver an outstanding relationship with candidates, internal and external clients while ensuring a focus on building talent pipelines and communities. Developing creative recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of talent, you will be an authority on external market talent trends and bring new insights to support the business needs.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Partner with executive leaders to craft, implement, and execute recruiting strategies for senior-level talent.
- Proactively and continuously implement creative sourcing strategies to build a diverse network of high quality candidates
- Deliver relationship management strategies with high-potential talent to accurately represent company leadership positions in the marketplace.
- Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and COE for Talent Management, Leadership Development, and ID&E to support senior-level succession plans to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of external search strategies
- Provide timely and innovative information to Senior Executives on meaningful developments within the executive staffing field to help educate business leaders on effective recruiting methods
- Continually identify and address areas of improvement and opportunity within the candidate experience
- Use technology solutions when possible to streamline processes to improve the teams impact
About you:
- 4 years' experience of executive level recruitment experience, with experience within medical devices or life sciences helpful
- Experience with a broad range of recruiting methodologies, with a confirmed ability to source and convert talented candidates
- Proven problem solver with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and influencing skills, to work with executive level stakeholders from a diverse set of backgrounds
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously with strong project management abilities
- Experience with Workday would be a plus
- Strong business knowledge, able to translate business strategy to talent attraction strategies
Education:
- High School Diploma / GED
