About the Role

As Talent Lead for Atelier Pardon and the Pardon Family Office, you will work closely with CEO Nicholas Pardon and his team to ensure that the Atelier and Family Office are in dialogue with creative and artistic talent across the country. 

You will collaborate with Pardon Ventures’ Head of People and Managing Director to ensure the Atelier and the Family Office is comprehensively supported for all workflows related to recruiting, compensation & benefits, culture, and people operations.

Accountabilities

• Entrepreneur-in-Residence “Talent Pooling”: You will form a deep and ongoing understanding of the digital brand portfolio that Pardon Ventures operates. Partnering with Pardon’s Managing Director, you will maintain a list of entrepreneurs and executives at other digital media companies that we believe may one day be a good fit for joining our company in an EIR capacity. Reach out, network, and connect with these potential EIRs, identifying the most promising to deepen relationships with. You will get to travel to meet and spend time with these potential EIRs while cultivating their interest in joining Pardon Ventures.
• Recruiting, Creative Talent: Form an ongoing understanding of the types of creative & design talent the Atelier requires to conduct its work. You will work to identify and prospect artists, designers, and other creatives – using direct outreach and job sites – who may be a good fit for the Atelier. Liaise with Pardon Ventures’ People team to ensure proper support for Atelier recruiting workflows.
• Atelier Talent: Work alongside Nicholas and the Director of Family Operations to ensure all team members in the Atelier are clear about their priorities, engaged in their work, and performing to high standards. Liaise with Head of People and other People team members at Pardon Ventures to ensure Atelier people operations are understood and supported by the Pardon Ventures’ leadership team.

Qualifications

• A passion for arts and culture, and you are interested in working at the intersection of arts and entrepreneurship.
• The ability to evaluate people and form realistic opinions about what roles and work contexts they would thrive in.
• Founded a company of your own or embarked on a personal entrepreneurial or creative project. You love entrepreneurship, understand founders, and are excited to meet and support founders and entrepreneurial people in your work.
• A high EQ, strong ability to “read the room,” and tailor your communications to effectively build rapport with a wide range of people.
