Position Description Title: HR Technology Specialist

In this role, the HR Technology Specialist is responsible for managing and continuously improving Armstrong’s global HR technology ecosystem. Working closely with HR, IT, Engineering, Finance, and external technology partners, this role will support HR technology initiatives, oversee system integrations, maintain data integrity, and ensure HR systems are reliable, integrated, secure, and aligned with business needs.
Key Accountabilities
HR Technology Management
- Own the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Armstrong's HR technology ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes through technology, automation, and digital solutions.
- Ensure HR systems remain reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
Systems Administration & Support
- Manage system configuration, user access, upgrades, testing, and ongoing optimization.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Deliver training and guidance to HR teams, managers, and employees to maximize system adoption.
Systems Integration
- Manage integrations between HRIS and enterprise platforms, including payroll, finance, identity management, and reporting tools.
- Ensure accurate and timely flow of employee and organizational data across integrated systems.
- Support system testing, data validation, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement.
Data Governance & Reporting
- Maintain the integrity, quality, and governance of HR data across all systems.
- Develop and support HR dashboards, reports, and workforce analytics to enable informed business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and reporting standards.
HR Technology Projects
- Support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of HR technology solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Build effective partnerships with HR, IT, Engineering, Finance, business leaders, and external vendors.
- Coordinate vendor activities, system enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure technology solutions effectively support organizational priorities and future business growth.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting HR technology, HR systems, enterprise applications, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with integrated HR systems in a multi-site or global organization is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, systems integration, data governance, and technology-enabled process improvement.
