Serve as the functional Workday expert for US Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Expenses. Configure and maintain compensation plans, benefits, and expense policies; support annual cycles (open enrollment, compensation reviews); troubleshoot systems; generate reports and analytics; maintain Core HCM data; provide tiered support for Talent and Help modules; conduct audits, training, and system enhancement activities; ensure data privacy and compliance.

 The ideal candidate will serve as the functional expert for US Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Expenses, with additional responsibilities supporting Talent and Help modules alongside Core HCM. You will play a key role in maintaining system integrity, driving process improvements, and supporting annual and off-cycle compensation and benefits events.

Advanced Compensation Support
● Configure and maintain compensation plans, merit cycles, bonus programs, and eligibility rules.
● Partner with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and compliance with compensation strategy.
● Support compensation review cycles and generate relevant reporting and analytics.

US Benefits Administration
● Manage and support all aspects of Workday Benefits, including plan configuration, eligibility rules, and enrollment windows.
● Troubleshoot benefit-related issues and collaborate with HR and vendors to ensure accurate processing.
● Support Open Enrollment planning, testing, and execution.

Expense Management
● Maintain Workday Expenses configuration including policies, validations, and cost controls.
● Provide tier 2 support for employee inquiries related to expense submissions and reimbursements.
● Collaborate with AP or Finance teams to ensure timely processing and audits.

Core HCM Support
● Support foundational Workday Core HCM configurations including job profiles, positions, and supervisory organizations.
● Assist with employee data changes, business process troubleshooting, and HCM reporting.
● Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal HR policies and regulatory requirements.

Backup Support (Secondary Modules)
● Assist with configuration and troubleshooting for Talent management workflows such as goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
● Provide tier 1–2 support for Workday Help, including case routing, knowledge article maintenance, and user guidance.

General Activities
● Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to End-Users and the People Team, related to the People System platforms.
● Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with established policies
● Assist internal teams in the development and delivery of training programs for users
● Generate standard and ad-hoc reports from the People systems to meet the reporting needs of the People Team and other departments.
● Assist in analyzing People data trends to support decision-making.
● Contribute to the implementation of system enhancements and updates.
● Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and security protocols within the People systems.

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of Workday functional experience, with direct configuration and support in US Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Expenses.
● Solid understanding of HR and compensation processes in a corporate environment.
● Experience supporting annual cycles: Open Enrollment, compensation reviews, and financial year-end activities.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues and propose solutions.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Payroll, IT).
● Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● Knowledge of integration points with payroll, finance, or third-party vendors
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday Pro or Workday Certification in one or more modules (e.g., Benefits, Comp, Expenses) Optional
Experience supporting Workday Talent or Help a plus
Familiarity with SOX or audit-related controls in a cloud HCM system
