Summary/Function:
The HR Systems & Operations Analyst administers and supports core HR systems, data, reporting, and business processes. Working closely with IT, FP&A, Payroll, external vendors, and the broader Human Capital team, this role delivers reliable operational solutions that strengthen data integrity, streamline processes, and improve the user experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive, collaborative professional with strong business acumen, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in application administration, business systems, data operations, or a comparable analyst role.
• Experience administering multiple information systems, reporting tools, and user interfaces; experience with Workday or another HRIS (or equivalent enterprise level system) is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Excel with the ability to analyze data using pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, conditional formatting, and other data analysis techniques.
• Technical proficiency with data flows, data mapping, and source tables.
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills, with strong detail orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in creating dashboards or data visualizations is a plus.
• Ability to gather, understand, and document business requirements and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across different teams.
• Ability to protect confidential information and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee data.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Duties:
• Serve as subject matter expert to drive, administer, and support key HR technology platforms:
o HRIS (Workday)
o Performance management systems
o Learning management systems
o Applicant tracking systems
o Volunteer portal
o Other HR-related systems and tools (surveys, forms, eSignature, etc.)
• Configure, develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to address business and stakeholder needs.
• Analyze data outputs, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with applicable policies and requirements when handling sensitive data.
• Prepare, test, validate, and execute data loads to and from various HR systems and third-party providers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maintain existing integrations and implement new system configurations.
• Test system releases, platform upgrades, and deployment of new functionality; participate in user acceptance testing.
• Evaluate HR processes and implement opportunities for automation, efficiency, stronger controls, and improved user experience.
• Establish and maintain governance practices, including reviews, controls, process standards, and project intake procedures.
• Maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials.
• Engage in ongoing training to build expertise and stay current on system and operational developments.
• Provide systems and operational support for recurring HR business cycles and other departmental initiatives.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
