As the HR Strategy Manager , you will leverage data to drive strategic decision-making within HR and across the business. This role is focused on delivering actionable insights from HR data, helping shape workforce strategies, enhance employee engagement, and improve organizational performance. You’ll work closely with HR leadership, business stakeholders, and IT to ensure that HR data is both comprehensive and actionable, enabling the company to meet its strategic objectives.

You will lead the HR analytics function, utilizing data from various HR systems and platforms to produce detailed reports, dashboards, and predictive analytics that support talent management, workforce planning, and other key HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting:

    • Lead the collection, integration, and analysis of HR data from various internal and external sources, including Workday, payroll systems, performance management tools, and employee engagement platforms.

    • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reporting tools to track key metrics such as turnover, engagement, diversity, hiring trends, and compensation.

    • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports, presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
       

  • Strategic Insights and Business Intelligence:

    • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand organizational needs and design analytics solutions that address those needs (e.g., workforce planning, talent management, retention strategies).

    • Analyze employee lifecycle data to identify trends, predict future needs, and inform strategies for recruitment, employee engagement, and retention.

    • Deliver actionable insights on key HR metrics, including turnover rates, engagement scores, diversity initiatives, and organizational development.
       

  • Predictive Analytics and Workforce Planning:

    • Leverage advanced analytics techniques (e.g., regression analysis, machine learning models) to build predictive models for workforce trends, helping the business anticipate future talent needs and proactively address gaps.

    • Conduct scenario planning and predictive modeling to optimize workforce strategy and ensure alignment with long-term business goals.
       

  • Collaboration with HR and Business Units:

    • Partner closely with HR teams to ensure data-driven insights align with and inform HR strategies and initiatives.

    • Work with business units to understand departmental needs and customize reporting or analytics to drive business outcomes and improve decision-making.

    • Act as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders, helping them interpret data, measure performance, and refine strategies.
       

  • Data Governance and Data Quality:

    • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of HR data, adhering to privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and company policies.

    • Establish and enforce data governance protocols to maintain high-quality, reliable data across all HR systems.
       

  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

    • Stay current on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in HR analytics, applying new methods or platforms to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.

    • Drive the adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance HR analytics capabilities, ensuring the organization remains competitive in leveraging HR data.
       

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

    • 5+ years of experience in HR analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with at least 3 years working with HR systems (Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, etc.).

    • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other BI platforms.

    • Experience working with HR data and a strong understanding of HR processes (recruitment, talent development, compensation, etc.).
       

  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in HR data analysis, with proficiency in advanced Excel functions, HRIS platforms, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

    • Knowledge of predictive analytics techniques, statistical methods, and machine learning models (e.g., regression analysis, clustering).

    • Experience with SQL and data manipulation to extract, clean, and transform HR data for analysis.

    • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices related to HR data privacy regulations.
       

  • Business Acumen & Leadership:

    • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into strategic business decisions that drive organizational outcomes.

    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, and business units.
       

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.

  • Has background in People Operations/Human Resources Reporting

  • Knowledgeable in Power BI

  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.

  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills
