The Role
Serve as HR business partner across the employee lifecycle: manage onboarding to offboarding, contracts, payroll coordination, recruiting and employer branding, employee relations, performance and development, ensure compliance with German labor law, support works council cooperation, prepare HR reports, and contribute to HR digitalization and international HR projects.

As an HR Specialist, you are a trusted partner for employees and leaders across the entire employee lifecycle. You actively shape our people strategy, ensure professional HR operations, and support the continued growth of exocad in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  • Manage all HR processes from onboarding to offboarding
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters
  • Ensure legally compliant contract management, personnel administration, and documentation
  • Support payroll activities in close collaboration with external payroll partners
Recruiting & Employer Branding
  • Coordinate and manage the entire recruiting process
  • Work closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles
  • Actively support employer branding initiatives and continuously improve the candidate experience
  • Collaborate with external recruiters and staffing agencies when required
Employee Relations & Development
  • Support performance management and feedback processes
  • Advise leaders on employee development, engagement, and retention
  • Support learning and development initiatives
  • Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance company culture
HR Policies, Compliance & Labor Law
  • Ensure compliance with German labor law and internal HR policies
  • Maintain and further develop HR processes and guidelines
  • Support collaboration with the works council, where applicable
  • Prepare HR reports and analyses for management
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in international HR initiatives and cross-functional projects
  • Support the digitalization and optimization of HR processes
  • Contribute to the development of global HR standards while considering local requirements


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Completed degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong knowledge of German labor law
  • Experience in an international and/or fast-growing company is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a structured working style
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance people and business needs
  • Fluent German and English skills

Skills Required

  • Completed degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong knowledge of German labor law
