Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a HR Specialist to join our HR Shared Services Team based in Plantation, Florida! This role will take responsibility of data entry into our HCM system and the integrity of the data. The candidate will partner directly with HRBPs and Managers to ensure pay details and timesheets are correctly entered in HR systems and accurately paid. Our goal is a defect-free pay experience for every Team Member every week – our Pay People Perfectly initiative.

What you'll do:

  • Audit timesheets and pay-related data, enter or update team member records
  • Process retro pay adjustments as applicable
  • Respond to and resolve pay inquiries in timely manner
  • Partner with external vendor to provide details on our unemployment claims
  • Provide VOI/VOE when applicable
  • Support responses for Worker Opportunity Tax Credit
  • Collect documentation, payroll data, HR Records for legal requests
  • Complete Medical Support Notices and benefits enrollments
  • Complete ServiceNow cases (HR case management software)
  • Maintain data integrity in various HR systems

What you'll need:

  • Experience with Payroll, Benefits, or Wage and Hour support preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Accurate and detailed with excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service focus (internal and external), and professional interaction at all levels, from front-line to executive-level
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Self-motivated, positive demeanor, flexible outlook, and strong ethical values
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling critical and personal information 

Bonus:

  • Workday and/or Kronos Time & Attendance and/or Service Now experience
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws
