We are currently looking for an HR Specialist (Internal HR) to join the Reward and Career Changes Team on a temporary fixed-term contract for a period of one year.

What you’ll do
Support UPM units in Poland with administrative tasks related to the employment life cycle and benefits
Co-operate with HR Business Partners at UPM’s mills and office sites, as well as with external stakeholders (e.g. payroll or benefits’ providers)
Provide advice to employees and managers on HR processes, policies, and HR system related questions using ServiceNow, phone and chat
Maintain HR system (Workday) related to personal, employment, compensation and benefit data
Support time and attendance processes, including system troubleshooting and various queries
Deliver onboarding sessions and support pre-boarding documentation
Prepare HR documents and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Participate in additional HR projects and initiatives based on current need, your interests and skills
Who you are
You have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or equivalent in a relevant field of study
You have hands on experience with the Polish labour law and strong willingness to develop further in the area
You are comfortable working with various software and systems
You have considerable discretion in handling confidential matters
You demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
You have a service-oriented mindset
You can work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team
You have strong communication skills and a positive attitude
You have experience with the OurWorkday platform or ServiceNow platform which would be considered an asset
You speak fluent Polish and English (both mandatory), knowledge of German will be considered an advantage

Additional information about the position
