About your new role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful HR Specialist to support our growing global workforce across multiple countries. This role plays an important part in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations for international employees and contractors engaged through global partners and internal HR systems.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Human Resources to maintain compliant, organized, and efficient HR processes across regions. This is an operationally focused role for someone who brings structure to fast-moving environments. While processes exist, priorities can shift quickly, and the right person will be comfortable operating in a growing, startup-style organization where adaptability, ownership, and responsiveness are essential.
Beyond supporting existing processes, you’ll help monitor and strengthen HR automation workflows, identify inefficiencies, and contribute ideas that improve speed, accuracy, and scalability. We’re looking for someone with a systems-oriented mindset who is comfortable leveraging modern tools, including AI, to enhance productivity and drive smarter HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary HR contact for international employees and contractors, including those engaged through EOR service providers.
- Support onboarding logistics, documentation management, and new hire coordination across HR systems and EOR platforms.
- Maintain and organize employee personnel files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper record retention.
- Assist with drafting offer letters and routing approvals through established workflows.
- Monitor HRIS automated workflows to ensure processes are running properly, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation, AI tools, and system enhancements.
- Support employee benefits coordination and related documentation, including inquiries routed through EOR providers.
- Support time-off tracking and policy administration.
- Maintain and update HR documentation, knowledge base resources, and organizational reporting (e.g., org charts).
- Track employment law updates in countries where we operate and coordinate with EOR partners as needed.
- Provide recruiting coordination support on an as-needed basis (e.g., scheduling assistance, posting documentation).
- Assist in planning and coordinating local team-building initiatives and employee engagement activities within regional teams.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the HR function and broader organization.
- Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organization.
What you'll need for success:
- 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations.
- Experience supporting international employees through EOR service providers (e.g., Deel) preferred.
- Exposure to multi-country workforce operations and global compliance considerations.
- Foundational knowledge of HR compliance and employment law.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Rippling) and comfort navigating multiple systems.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Process-driven mindset with the ability to follow structured workflows while thinking critically about improvements.
- Strong sense of data integrity, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
- Comfort using technology to improve efficiency, with curiosity around automation and AI-driven tools.
- Resourceful, creative problem-solver who can think beyond “how it’s always been done.”
- Strong written communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
