Job Description

To start with, the position of HR Specialist Global Functions sits comfortably in the Global HR Organization. An incredibly diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. Just how we like it! As a HR Specialist Global Functions you will be asked to support the Global HR Managers with the People Agenda and implementation of the HR annual cycle and is specifically supporting activities such as HR interventions (including performance management & absenteeism), monitoring Analysing and using HR metrics for data driven decisions, and maintaining implementing HR policies and procedures.

 For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:

HR Cycle :

  • Supports the HR global functions team in performance management cycle and process, e.g. performance management, talent management, recruitment, engagement survey, and strategic workforce planning,
  • Supports HR team in rolling out various HR initiatives

HR Advice :

  • Consults with line management and provides daily HR guidance on topics like absenteeism and performance management

HR Analytics & Reporting :

  • Uses our data to analyse, report on, and cascade data driven decisions in

HR Policies & Practices :

  • Coordinates and implements HR Policies & Practices
  • Initiate continuous improvement of HR processes and policies

HR Projects :

  • Participates in HR initiatives and projects, engagement, capability building and leadership development

Qualifications

We are looking for an ambitious, motivated, collaborative, curious and highly adaptable HR professional with a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it's important for you to have a certain level of experience working within a fast paces global setting as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves,” however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with HR Business Partnering and driving the HR Agenda but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:

  • Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business/Administration
  • +3 years previous experience in a similar role working in an international business environment
  • Able to build strong relationships and act as business partner
  • Excellent communication - and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates agility, flexibility and resilience
  • Well organised and efficient
  • Experience in Dutch Labour Legislation
