HR Operations Specialist
Johnson Controls is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Operations Specialist. The HR Operations Specialist will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring processing of transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail. Scope involves processing of Hiring, Reference Letters, Personal data changes, Job data changes, Terminations and more. The role will involve transition of processes from offshore locations and hence the incumbent will ensure the learning curve is maintained until self-sufficiency within transition timelines.:
What you will do
- Primary jobs involve handling job requisitions such as bulk creation, validation and approval using various business rules.
- Processes other workday administration such New Hires, Terminations, Employment Changes, Employment Verification, etc. including follow up with mangers and HRBPs to clarify information, obtain approvals or request corrections.
- Process the transactions accomplishing KPIs defined per processes and according to the Case Management Framework and the SOX Matrix.
- Audits of data entry accuracy done by HR Ops team members
- Well versed with data protection principles, knows how to process confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Attention to detail – be able to accurately process transaction.
- Solid understanding of Workday and HR ServiceNow.
- Articulate work instructions and write standard operating procedure (SOPs). Support other team members and new joiners.
- Participate in regional and global projects to support regional HR initiatives.
What we look for
- 2 - 5 years of work experience in HR Shared Services.
- Good at multi-tasking and time management to manage the workload efficiently.
- Good excel skills (vlookup, PIVOTs, formatting etc)
- Experience working in a global or multinational company with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Flexible in shifts to support AMER.
- Self-motivated and a quick learner, be able to deliver under challenging and dynamic environment to meet changing demands of customers.
- Good to have experience in Sumtotal, Cornerstone or any relevant learning management systems.
Skills Required
- 2–5 years of work experience in HR Shared Services
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Good Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formatting
- Experience working in a global or multinational company
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility to work shifts supporting AMER
- Experience with SumTotal, Cornerstone, or another learning management system
