HR Operations Team Lead - ELCHR Operations Specialist –US Contact Center (Tier 1)

The HR Contact Center Specialist serves as the first point of contact for employees and managers in the US for HR-related questions and transactions. This role provides support across HR policies, employee data changes, case management, and basic Workday processing to ensure accurate, timely, and professional service.
Your responsibilities
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries via phone, email, chat, or case management system.
- Provide guidance on US HR policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Process and validate HR transactions in Workday, including hires, job changes, terminations, updates, and personal data changes.
- Research and resolve issues independently when possible, or route/escalate complex cases to the appropriate HR team.
- Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and transaction records.
- Support employee self-service and educate users on how to complete common tasks in Workday.
- Ensure compliance with HR data privacy, internal controls, and service level targets.
- Partner with HR, payroll, benefits, and other stakeholders to resolve employee issues.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Your background
- A Bachelor’s degree in any stream
- 2–5 years of experience in HR shared services, HR contact center, or HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of US HR processes and employee support practices.
- Hands-on experience with Workday.
- A proactive way of working to serve customers with a “can-do” attitude
- Willingness to work in Night shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high transaction team environment
