This is a PAID internship offering valuable hands-on experience in Employee Relations, Benefits, Onboarding , and much more to set you up for future success. WHO WE NEED :

  • You're currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and able to commute to our office during your internship.
  • You're cooperative and like to lend a helping hand to others. We have a collaborative culture here at HCSS where teamwork makes the dream work!
  • You're detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a logical thinker that brings fresh ideas!


WHAT YOU'LL DO :

  • Maintain our personnel files organized and up-to-date, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in exciting projects that streamline HR operations and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Learn all about employee relations and how to handle real-world HR challenges as they arise.
  • Collaborate with our benefits coordinator, assisting with benefit plan reviews, enrollments, and reconciliations.
  • From onboarding to offboarding, you'll get a chance to learn every stage of an employee's journey.
  • Get involved in planning and participating in fun employee engagement activities, and explore so much more!


WHAT YOU'LL DO :

  • Currently in a University Program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related-field
  • Experience with an HRIS, preferably ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience with Google Suite
  • Exposure to benefit plans and programs
  • Familiarity with generating reports and project management


WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • This internship is semester-based and we'll work around your school schedule. For the Summer Break, you can work up to 40 hours a week. During the Fall/Spring semesters, you can work up to 25 hours a week.
  • Training and mentoring will be provided, and you'll receive feedback on your performance regularly. You'll also have numerous opportunities to grow your knowledge base continuously.
