Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Operations Generalist to join the HR team.
This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and supporting our recruiting efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle confidential information with discretion and is passionate about attracting and retaining top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting:
    • Assist in leading a full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, conduct initial interviews and candidate communication.
    • Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective job descriptions.
    • Coordinate and participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
    • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment activity.
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
    • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of offer letters, conducting background checks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
    • Facilitate the offboarding process, including exit interviews, retrieval of company property, and deactivation of system access.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
    • Prepare and process HR documents, such as employment contracts, promotions, and termination paperwork.
    • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Prepare and submit required reports, such as EEO-1, VETS-4212, and other compliance-related documentation.
    • Monitor and maintain records for compliance with training and certification requirements.
  • Payroll Support:
    • Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
    • Assist with payroll audits and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
    • Provide support in resolving employee relations issues, escalating as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations or a similar role in Tech Companies, with at least 1 year of experience in recruiting.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
