About the Team

This role sits within the People Team Centre of Excellence, where you will be responsible for managing the end to end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing through to contract management, ensuring compliance with procurement, legal and governance frameworks.

Working closely with stakeholders across People, Procurement, Legal and Finance, you'll help drive operational excellence while supporting the effective delivery of strategic people initiatives.

About the Role

As the HR Operations Coordinator, you'll provide essential operational, governance and administrative support to the Deputy Head of People and the broader Centre of Excellence team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting tender and procurement activities, including evaluation processes and procurement schedules

  • Managing contract administration, including invoicing and contract record maintenance

  • Ensuring procurement, governance and compliance documentation is maintained and up to date

  • Partnering with Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams to onboard vendors and manage supplier relationships

  • Coordination and administrative support to the Deputy Head of People

  • Coordinating meetings, agendas, documentation and follow up actions

  • Preparing and coordinating internal and external reporting requirements

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across team operations and governance processes

About You

You are a highly organised and proactive professional with strong coordination, procurement and stakeholder management skills.  You thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy working across multiple teams to deliver high quality outcomes.

You'll bring:

  • Experience providing team coordination or operational support within a People, Strategy and Governance, or corporate environment

  • Demonstrated procurement planning and contract management experience, with an understanding of governance and compliance requirements

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and with external vendors

  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence

  • Collaborative and proactive approach, with a commitment to fostering trust, accountability and innovation

  • Experience supporting reporting, governance activities, and strategic initiatives will be highly regarded
