The HR Operations Analyst is a key contributor to the HR Operations team, responsible for advancing the efficiency, consistency, and global standardization of core HR processes and data management. This role acts as a subject matter expert, serving as a point of escalation for transactional support, driving process improvements, and building strong relationships with a dedicated client group to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
What You'll Do:
- Identify, analyze, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement across HR Operations processes, focusing on efficiency, global consistency, and best practices.
- Document, review, and maintain standardized HR process documentation and knowledge articles to ensure accuracy and consistency worldwide.
- Lead minor HRIS system configuration changes and testing to support process enhancements and rollouts.
- Serve as the Tier 2 point of contact for resolving complex or escalated employee inquiries and data-related issues that cannot be resolved by the HR Operations Analyst I.
- Conduct advanced data audits and reconciliation across multiple HR systems to ensure the highest level of data integrity, quality, and compliance.
- Provide backup transactional and administrative support to the HR Operations Analyst I team during peak times, absences, or system upgrades.
- Act as a dedicated HR Operations partner for a specific client group (e.g., a business unit or region), focusing on their unique operational needs and service delivery requirements.
- Mentor and train HR Operations Analyst I team members on new processes, system updates, and best practices for handling routine and complex requests.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and other HR functions (e.g., Compensation, Benefits) to ensure operational processes align with business unit strategies.
- Participate in and often lead foundational HR projects and initiatives (e.g., annual enrollment, system implementations, policy updates) as the HR Operations subject matter expert.
- Develop and generate specialized HR reports and metrics to provide insights into operational efficiency and support strategic HR planning.

What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in an HR Operations, HRIS, or similar administrative/analytical role. .
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or other complex data management tools, including experience with data auditing and reporting.
- Proven ability to analyze processes and propose/implement solutions for efficiency and standardization.
- Exceptional customer service mindset with advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail are a must.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for data analysis and reporting.
- The ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- A proactive, resourceful, and critical thinking approach to complex problem-solving.
