At Brno's Thermo Fisher Scientific, we develop and manufacture state-of-the-art electron microscopes and spectrometers. They participate in the research of the ZIKA virus, HIV, they allow the shrinking of mobile phones. Our work contributes to making the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We're looking for an HR Manager (Senior HRBP) who embodies integrity, teamwork, and a forward-thinking mindset.

What are the responsibilities of the role?

  • You'll be more than an HR manager—you'll be a change agent
  • You'll be tasked with aligning HR processes with our strategic goals, acting as the first point of contact for our leaders, and implementing various HR programs
  • You'll also work closely with HR Business Partners across the globe and management to implement organizational structures and processes in line with our business objectives
  • You'll be expected to handle everything from employee relations and performance management to compensation guidance and talent programs
  • As a member of our HR team, you'll have the chance to influence and support organizational change, drive business improvement initiatives, and shape our company culture
  • Expect to participate in international HR projects, work with leaders across the globe, and play a part in mergers, acquisitions, and transformation projects

What are the requirements?

  • A university degree
  • Preferably 5+ years of HR Business partnering or HR Generalist experience
  • Fluency in English and Czech, both verbal and written
  • A knack for building strong business relationships
  • Team player with an open mind
  • Can built and maintain strategic partnership with the business
  • Have solid legal knowledge
  • Readiness to drive change

Skills Required

  • Fluency in Czech and English
  • Proven experience in employee relations including investigations and disciplinary actions
  • Experience implementing HR programs and partnering with business leaders
  • Experience in talent attraction, recruitment, assessment and development
  • Experience with compensation equity and planning processes
  • Ability to coach and advise managers on HR policies, performance management, and career development
  • Experience partnering with HR Centers of Excellence/Platform experts to roll out large-scale HR initiatives
  • Commercial and manufacturing business knowledge and orientation
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft 365 Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Proven project and time management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
