The HR Manager will lead the establishment and
implementation of a cutting-edge HR practice within our client’s organization.
This pivotal role involves guiding, managing, and enforcing a high-performance
Human Resources function in alignment with local labor laws and best practices.
As a key representative of our client, the HR Manager should embody unique
culture and values, fostering a positive work environment across regional and
country teams.
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and
manage the comprehensive provision of Human Resources Services, policies, and
programs for our client’s operations in Tanzania. This multifaceted position demands
expertise in all aspects of People, Talent Management, including recruitment, performance
management, Employee relations and Learning and development.
The role also entails statutory benefits communication,
leave management, and enforcement of company policies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Organizational Design:
· Develop a comprehensive HR organizational design
in collaboration with the Leadership Team for both field and HQ offices.
· Ensure compliance with legal requirements and
company policies in maintaining human resource files and records.
· Update job requirements and descriptions for all
positions to maintain the work structure.
· Design and maintain a systematic filing and
retrieval system for historical human resource records.
2 2. Talent Management:
· Oversee and develop Talent Management
initiatives, including performance review systems, leadership development,
career programs, succession planning, and employee learning and development.
· Lead the implementation of the talent plan,
covering areas such as talent management, leadership effectiveness, diversity
and inclusion, culture, and compensation structure.
· Establish and maintain a recruitment system,
testing, and interviewing program; counsel managers on candidate selection;
conduct and analyze exit interviews; recommend changes

· Ensure HR reporting functions are up-to-date and
in compliance with company and legal regulations.
· Monitor and implement applicable human resource
state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the
organization at hearings.
· Provide essential information on statutory
deductions, social security funds, and other compliances.
· Oversee NSSF/ZSSF form/number submission, NHIF
registration.
- Stay updated on changes in Tanzania Labour Laws
and communicate changes to the management
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Law or any relevant field
- 5 years proven experience in HR working in a fast pace environment
- Flexible and innovative thinker
