In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of our Retention and Redeployment plan for our Future Systems Programme team, develop proposed initiatives that focus on the wellbeing, development and retention of our people, and the creation of career plans and pathways post programme. You will bring your HR expertise and best practice to the table to ensure that our talented team are cared for and set up for success beyond the programme.
This is a 6-month fixed term, 3 days a week, based in our IT office in Christchurch.
In addition to the above you will be:
Supporting the team to understand their career ambitions, development needs, and day-to-day drivers that keep them motivated and well
Developing and facilitating opportunities to build the team’s visibility in the wider business and beyond
Delivering the Retention & Redeployment plan, including timelines, resources, and budget
Ensuring adherence to statutory and legislative requirements, and Fulton Hogan policies and procedures
Providing wellbeing plan delivery

We’re looking for someone with:
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources and 5 to 7 years' experience
Expertise and knowledge of NZ & AU Employment Legislation
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to engage and influence
Practical understanding and experience of key HR processes and practices
Experience in large commercial organisations
Data savvy with the ability to analyse, interpret and report key themes
Creating, Connecting, and caring for the community
