The Role

The HR Manager is a vital role within the Blenheim Chalcot portfolio and BC India. The HR Manager will oversee and manage HR Operations, Employee Engagement, and HR Shared Services to ensure the efficient delivery of HR services and the enhancement of employee satisfaction. This role is responsible for implementing HR policies, managing day-to-day HR functions, and driving initiatives that improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and progressive environment, where you will support us in building our next generation of GenAI enabled tech businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations:

  • HR Administration: Manage all HR administrative tasks including employee onboarding, record-keeping, and compliance with legal and company policies.
  • HR Systems Management: Oversee the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and ensure accurate data management, reporting, and system upgrades.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate performance appraisal processes, manage employee performance-related issues, and support managers in performance development.

Employee Engagement:

  • Engagement Strategies: Develop and execute employee engagement programs and initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retain talent.
  • Survey Administration: Conduct and analyze employee satisfaction surveys, and implement action plans based on feedback.
  • Communication: Foster open communication channels between employees and management, and address employee concerns and grievances effectively.
  • Recognition Programs: Design and manage employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and motivate staff.

HR Shared Services:

  • Service Delivery: Oversee HR shared services operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to HR shared services processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external service providers (e.g., payroll, benefits administrators) and ensure service levels are met.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all shared services comply with company policies, legal regulations, and best practices.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in HR management with a focus on HR operations, employee engagement, and shared services.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to design and implement employee engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.
