Leads the human resources function, advising senior leaders and coaching HR business partners. Oversees employment policies, compliance, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, wellness strategy, budgeting, and HR metrics. Develops and updates procedures, ensures adherence to employment laws, manages complex employee relations, and provides strategic leadership across the organization.

Overview:
The COE Leader guides and manages the overall provision of human resource services and company policies, with an emphasis on leadership coaching/ consulting, talent acquisition, compensation development and strategy, benefits and human resources compliance. 
 
Responsibilities:
Provides human resources guidance and coaching to senior leaders, while also providing direct coaching and guidance to the Talent Group Business Partners either directly or through dotted line reporting.   
Guides management and team members by researching, developing, writing and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines, communicating and enforcing such polices with assistance from and in collaboration with Talent Group Business Partners.  Ensures Company compliance with state, federal and local employment-related legal requirements while keeping abreast of the latest employment law changes, including those related to employee leaves, EEO requirements, hiring and benefits compliance.
 

  • Oversees and assists with the development of talent acquisition strategy
  • Oversees and assists with the development of Compensation and Benefits/Wellness Strategy
  • Oversees Talent Group Department budget process, financial metrics and strategies.

Qualifications:
 

  • Possess strategic leadership experience and the ability to set a vision for the human resources function.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years human resources leadership experience with progressively increasing responsibilities managing complex employee relations issues within a matrix organization.
  • Possess exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication and execution skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous supervisory experience with exempt and non-exempt personnel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Professional Human Resources designation preferred, such as CCP, CEBS, or SPHR.

Skills Required
