Summary: We are seeking a motivated and driven higher education student to join our Human Resources team as an intern, with a primary focus on training and talent development initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in assisting in the development and coordination of employee training programs while supporting broader HR functions. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to work with people, helping to support their professional development and career aspirations, while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the creation and maintenance of training materials, schedules, and documentation.
Help track employee training progress and maintain accurate records in HRIS systems.
Collaborate with HR and cross functional teams to identify workforce development and support needs.
Participate in organizing training sessions, conferences, and learning events.
Conduct research on best practices in industrial training and workforce development.
Provide administrative support for HR projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
Currently enrolled as a graduate student or upperclassman (Junior/Senior) within a higher education degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, Curricular or Program Design and Management, or a related field.

Preferred Experience:
Exposure to or coursework in human resources, education, training, workforce development, or coaching.
Experience in creating or delivering educational content, facilitating learning sessions, coaching, or supporting employee onboarding and/or development programs is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or HRIS platforms is preferred.
Other Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
