Job DescriptionNeedletail is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to serve as a key liaison between our people and the organization. This role blends the technical foundations of HR (policies, compliance, documentation, HR operations) with the human side (engagement, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing support across the employee lifecycle). You will help ensure a smooth, consistent, and positive employee experience while partnering with leaders to build a high-performing, people-first culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmations, role changes, offboarding, and documentation.
Partner with hiring managers to support recruiting: role scoping, job postings, screening coordination, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer support.
Drive onboarding and orientation to ensure new hires are set up for success (systems access, documentation, policies, and early check-ins).
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation; ensure data integrity across HR trackers/tools.
Support performance and feedback cycles by coordinating timelines, documentation, and follow-ups with managers and employees.
Lead employee engagement initiatives (pulse checks, feedback collection, culture activities) and help resolve day-to-day people concerns with empathy and discretion.
Support HR policy creation and updates; ensure consistent communication and adoption across teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations and internal standards; support audits and statutory documentation as needed.
Coordinate with payroll/finance/admin stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate HR inputs (attendance, leave, employee changes).
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to make HR operations more efficient, scalable, and employee-friendly.
People Operations / HR generalist experience with strong ownership of HR processes
Recruiting coordination and hiring support (end-to-end or partial lifecycle)
Working knowledge of HR compliance and statutory requirements
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills
High attention to detail with strong documentation and process discipline
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and sound judgment
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
4-10 years of experience in an HR Generalist / People Ops role (or closely related HR operations role).
Additional InformationThis is an HR generalist role focused on being a trusted point of contact for employees while ensuring strong HR operations. The role will cover both the technical aspects of HR (processes, documentation, compliance) and the people-focused aspects (engagement, hiring, onboarding, and follow-through across the employee lifecycle).
