✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring an HR Generalist at Miami Youth Academy in Miami, FL✨

Miami Youth Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for male youth aged 14 to 18. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based substance abuse services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program.

Pay: $50,000 annually.

What you will do: The Human Resources Generalist is primarily responsible for the oversight of all Human Resources functions for the site to ensure that the Human Resources goals and objectives are met. The Human Resources Generalist reports to the site Program Director and the District Human Resources Director. 

To be considered, you should:

As a Human Resources Generalist, you require a High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. 

One year of human resources experience in employee relations, training, and/or employment is preferred.

 Knowledge of Federal and State employment law, Human Resources policies and practices, and governmental licensing requirements is preferred.

 Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required.

  Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule:  Five days on (M-F) / two days off
