Job Summary
The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing guidance in employee-related matters through coordination with the local management team and corporate HR.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead recruiting efforts of all division hourly and salaried employees
- New hire onboarding, orientation and training
- Administer all insurance programs as well as billing
- Implement and administer company policies and procedures
- Provide advice and counsel to management regarding employee disciplinary actions and company policy
- Be an active leader on safety compliance and Osha documentation
- Ensure company compliance with state/
- Institute and administer policies on vacation, new provincial and/or federal legislation and timely, accurate reporting of all work-related injuries
- Ensure annual hourly and salaried employees performance appraisals are conducted and documented. Ensure all salaried employees have GOs in accordance with our business plan
- Maintain accuracy of all bonus plans and payouts employee hiring, training and education, and leave of absence
- Maintain PMP documentation for all employees
- Maintain roster and turnover
- Maintain updated filing of employee records
- Coordinate employee events
- Submit information to Marketing for internal communications Connextions
Qualifications
- 5 years’ human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to build and sustain confidence and credibility at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in working with ERP systems
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook
- Focus on results by getting things done
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft environment
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
Salary Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
Bonus/Incentive Pay:
Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
