Job Summary:
DRT Strategies is looking for an HR Generalist to join a growing organization in the Arlington, VA area! The HR Generalist will be an integral part of the HR team and will support HR operations. The ideal candidate for this position is excited to contribute to the success of the company by ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- New hire processing, internal status changes, and offboarding process
- Execute New Hire Orientation
- Maintain electronic HR files
- HRIS administration and data calls
- Benefits administration
- Assist with the management of Open Enrollment
- Assist with coordinating IT Assets
- Respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims
- Oversee the HR inbox, HR tracker and payroll tracker
- Assist with managing relationships with vendors, identify potential vendors and partners to improve operational processes and workflows
- Assist with the annual performance review and goals process
- Assist with the annual 401K audit and 401k deposits
- Administer loyalty bonuses/anniversaries and manage Bonusly administration
- Support leave administration such as parental leave, STD/LTD, FMLA, LWOP, etc.
- Be an advocate of DRT’s mission by helping to foster a positive work culture and environment
- Other duties or special projects as assigned
- Strong professional ethics and sensitivity with confidential information
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; superior organizational skills
- Good understanding of Federal, State and District employment laws and regulations
- Agility and ability to multitask with competing priorities
- 5+ years of human resources experience and desire to grow
- Team player
- Government Contracting experience required
- This position will be Hybrid and require 2-3 days onsite
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance. Due to contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders) to be eligible.
- No agencies, third parties, or Corp-to-Corp submissions.
- $75,000-$90,000
- Salary commensurate with experience.
Skills Required
- 3+ years of human resources experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Government contracting experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance; must be U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
- Strong professional ethics and sensitivity with confidential information
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Superior organizational skills and ability to multitask with competing priorities

- Hybrid availability for 2-3 days onsite in Arlington, VA
