JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
Support investigations related to employee relations, attendance, performance, and conduct
Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture
Assist with conflict resolution and corrective action processes
Support recruiting efforts including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offer processing
Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and documentation
Ensure compliance with I-9, E-Verify, and background check processes
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems
Process personnel actions including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations
Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries
Support payroll processing and timekeeping audits
Assist leaders with performance reviews, goal setting, and coaching conversations
Support training initiatives and employee development programs
Track and report HR metrics and trends
Participate in HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, retention strategies, and process improvements
Support change management and organizational development efforts
Coordinates and administers employee activities related to plant welfare such as special events, employee outings, etc.
Performs clerical duties, including typing, scheduling, and general record keeping duties.
Provides other duties or projects deemed necessary by the Human Resources Manager.
Approves vacation, PLAR and LOA.
Administers policies in accordance with Adient standards of operating procedures.
