Join a growing team where people matter. HeartLand LLC is seeking an experienced, Human Resources Generalist to serve as a trusted partner to our leaders and employees. In this role, you'll:
- Partner with leaders to recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top talent across the organization.
- Serve as the local HR resource, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws while maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support payroll, benefits administration, leave management, and HRIS processes with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate recruiting activities including sourcing, interviews, background checks, offers, and onboarding.
- Assist with safety initiatives, workers' compensation administration, and the H-2B Guest Worker Program.
- Help foster a positive, engaged workplace culture that supports both employees and business goals.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and recruiting.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (ADP or similar) and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- PHR certification and H-2B Guest Worker Program experience are a plus.
