We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Sweden. You will be responsible for HR compliance and generalist people issues in Stockholm. We are looking for someone to manage contracts and amendments, monitor internal promotions and provide documentation to the International HR Operations Team for tracking and audit purposes. We have over 100 associates in Stockholm and many of them are visa nationals. The HRG will manage compliance with visa requirements such as promotion changes, renewals and in terms of accommodation ensure the necessary letters of guarantee as per our policy.
This role will verify and monitor regulatory requirements (residency permits, probation periods etc.). We need an individual who can assemble files for new hires, handle absence and other leave cases, monitor probationary periods and verify payroll.
This is a key role in the Swedish office to ensure our people have the answers to their queries in a timely and customer focused manner.
Main responsibilities
- You will manage onboarding and offboarding together with local and overseas leaders. For new hires you will manage benefits enrolment - such as Pension, health insurance and benefits; (Max Mathiessen, Skandia, Fora, Bliwa, Sport allowance, glasses, at present)
- Work with London based Compensation and Benefits team on harmonising benefits and transferring to the new Broker
- Local management of HR vendors as needed
- Loyalty Program
- Manage contracts and amendments as needed and monitor internal promotions
- Monitor probationary periods
- Handle sick leave cases
- Prepare social dashboards (headcount reports, Economic and Social Database, etc.)
- Prepare social assessments and mandatory surveys
- Manage leaves of absence and overtime (using Replicon tool)
- Reporting to authorities (Social Insurance Agency, Tax Authorities etc.)
- Verify payroll accuracy by checking input as needed
- Other duties could involve a variety of tasks such as arranging workshops for feedback on our employee survey and working with the local team on employee engagement.
- There will be project work as part of the regional HR automation and transformation measures.
Your profile:
- Diploma / certification in Administrative Management or Human Resources
- At least 3 years of experience in this field
- Knowledge of payroll and human resources regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, English and Swedish writing and spelling abilities, and document formatting
- Comfortable with numbers, meticulousness, organizational skills, respect for deadlines, and ability to prioritize
- Ability to work independently based on complex guidelines and take initiative in assigned areas of responsibility, availability, and respect for the confidentiality of requests and processed files.
