About the Role

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our Central Eastern Europe HR team based in Prague. This position offers a broad scope across several countries and provides an excellent opportunity to work in an international and fast-paced environment.

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end HR administration for multiple countries, ensuring high-quality support to employees and managers. You will collaborate closely with the HR, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure smooth daily operations and a great employee experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • New Hires Processing: Drafting employment contracts, coordinating onboarding activities, scheduling, and conducting onboarding sessions, and working with hiring managers to ensure a smooth start for new employees (Prague, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia).

  • Contract & Employment Changes: Preparing documentation for contract amendments, salary updates, and other employment changes using existing templates.

  • Recruitment Support: Acting as a recruiter for selected roles in the region.

  • Workday Data Management: Maintaining accurate employee data in Workday and updating internal HR guidelines and knowledge articles.

  • Reporting & Presentations: Preparing basic HR reports and presentations as needed.

  • Foreign Workers Management: Coordinating work permit administration and compliance for foreign employees.

  • Employee Engagement: Organizing and coordinating occasional employee events (e.g., Christmas, Easter, and other engagement activities).

Your Profile

  • 2–3 years of experience in HR, ideally as an HR Generalist or HR Administrator.

  • Good knowledge of the Czech Labour Code and ability to answer basic employee and manager queries.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proactive, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities across countries.

  • Fluent in Czech and English, both written and spoken.

  • Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems is a plus.
