Job Description

The Shared Business Services (SBS) function at Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) is undergoing rapid growth and transformation to support the company's strategic expansion.

The Transition team is responsible for managing the migration and stabilization of processes into SBS centers, ensuring a smooth and successful handover from donor functions to SBS operational teams. As part of this team, you will play a key role in supporting business transformation and driving operational excellence across multiple functional domains.

The HR GBS Specialist, Talent, Learning & Reporting (China) is responsible for delivering standardized operational services across the Learning, Performance Management, Succession Planning and reporting families for the Asia within the Asia Hire to Retire (H2R) Shared Business Services organization.

The role ensures efficient execution of global HR processes, maintains a high-quality employee experience and supports operational excellence through process standardization, knowledge management and continuous improvement.

As the operational process owner for the assigned processes, the role maintains SOPs, supports governance and collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence and business stakeholders to ensure consistent service delivery across the employee lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:  

Learning Administration
Learning Administration activities include:

  • Learning assignment administration
  • Training enrolment and scheduling
  • Learning calendar coordination
  • Learning content administration
  • Translation coordination
  • Attendance monitoring
  • Learning completion tracking
  • Certificate administration
  • Learning Management System (LMS) administration
  • Vendor coordination
  • Learning reporting
  • Training feedback collection
  • Learning records maintenance

Performance & Succession Administration:
Support the operational delivery of Performance and Succession processes and provide operational support throughout annual talent cycles, including:

  • Objectives management administration
  • Performance review cycle administration
  • Performance workflow monitoring
  • Calibration session coordination
  • Succession administration
  • Talent review preparation
  • Critical position updates within Workday
  • Performance reporting
  • Talent review documentation

HR Data Quality & Analytics
Support operational excellence by:

  • Monitoring HR data quality
  • Performing data validation and reconciliation
  • Identifying reporting inconsistencies
  • Investigating data anomalies
  • Supporting data cleansing activities
  • Maintaining reporting integrity across Workday and supporting systems
  • Producing operational insights to support management decision-making

Process Ownership:
Own the operational process documentation for:

  • Learning Administration
  • Performance Management Administration
  • Succession Administration
  • Reporting Standards

Responsible for:

  • Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintaining process work instructions
  • Updating Knowledge Articles
  • Documenting approved local process variations
  • Supporting governance reviews
  • Maintaining process documentation for audit readiness

Continuous Improvement:
Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities to:

  • Simplify operational activities
  • Improve employee experience
  • Increase process standardization
  • Eliminate manual work
  • Improve system utilization
  • Support automation initiatives
  • Improve operational reporting

Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives supporting the evolution of the H2R Shared Services model.

Governance:
Support operational governance by:

  • Monitoring SLA achievement
  • Reviewing process KPIs
  • Supporting audit readiness
  • Ensuring compliance with approved global processes
  • Escalating operational risks
  • Supporting operational reporting

Decision Making:
Has authority to:

  • Resolve operational Learning and Performance cases.
  • Prioritize operational work within assigned processes.
  • Recommend process improvements.
  • Recommend updates to SOPs and Knowledge Articles.
  • Escalate operational issues requiring policy interpretation.
  • Support annual HR cycle planning.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of HR Operations, HR Shared Services or Global Business Services experience.
  • Experience supporting Learning Administration and Performance Management within a multinational environment.
  • Experience working with annual HR cycles.
  • Experience using Workday or comparable HCM platforms.
  • Experience maintaining HR operational documentation and process standards.
  • Experience working in a Shared Services environment is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational processes and deliver excellent customer service

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or a related field, equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Professional HR certifications considered an advantage

  • Fluent English (spoken and written) 
  • Mandarin is an advantage

    Builds and maintains effective working relationships with the Asia Service Delivery Lead, HR Business Partners, Global Centers of Expertise (Talent and Learning), HRIS, Payroll, Local HR teams and Global Process Owners to ensure the consistent delivery of H2R services and continuous process improvement. Externally, collaborates with learning vendors, training providers and other external partners or consultants, as required, to support the effective delivery of assigned services and operational initiatives.
