The HR & GA Manager acts as a focal point and strategic business partner to management while ensuring effective execution of HR and GA policies, processes, and daily operations for Shipco Indonesia. He / She will lead and manage the Human Resources and General Affairs functions to support business objectives, ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen employee engagement, and maintain an effective and well-organized workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, manpower plans, organization structure, and HR programs aligned with business objectives.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, succession, promotion, and employee movement.
- Manage salary review, bonus, benefits, HR budgeting, workforce cost analysis, and HR reporting to support management decisions.
- Manage employee relations, company policies, disciplinary matters, employment practices, and ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations.
- Oversee facilities, company assets, insurance, licenses, permits, vendors, office services, and expatriate administration.
- Develop employee engagement, wellbeing, health and safety, and workplace initiatives that support a positive and productive work environment.
- Lead, coach, and develop the HR & GA team while providing advice to management on people and organizational matters.
- Collaborate with business functions and drive continuous improvement of HR & GA processes, systems, and services.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with managerial or supervisory experience.
- Experience in both strategic and operational HR.
- Experience in General Affairs / office administration is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment regulations and HR practices.
