Mission of the Role (What you will be doing)
The Regional HR Director – Southeast Division will serve as a key business partner and strategic leader, directly overseeing HR operations across multiple locations in the Southeast, including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, the Carolinas, and Virginia. This is a hands-on role requiring strong HR generalist experience and the ability to balance day-to-day HR management with strategic oversight and leadership for the region. In Atlanta, this individual will manage HR operations: payroll, recruitment, benefits, and employee relations while driving compliance and engagement initiatives. Regionally, the HR Director will partner with senior leaders to align Corporate HR strategy with the region and oversee HR team members across the facilities, who will report directly to this position. This position is critical to ensuring the consistent application of HR policies, fostering employee engagement, and supporting talent acquisition and retention strategies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Duties & Accountabilities (Primary responsibilities & quantifiable measurements)
Site-Specific Responsibilities (Atlanta Facility):

Manage all day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Act as a trusted advisor to local managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Handle investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions to ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Drive employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies to support workforce stability.
Regional Responsibilities:

Partner with senior leaders across the Southeast division to align Corporate HR strategies with operational and business objectives.

Lead and mentor HR team members across all regional locations, ensuring consistent policy implementation and high-quality service delivery.

Collaborate with Corporate HR to develop, implement, and ensure the consistent application of HR policies, processes, and initiatives, leveraging best practices to support organizational goals.

Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, workforce planning, and organizational development.

Support ongoing refinement of HR programs to ensure alignment with business needs and compliance requirements.

Ensure regional compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Drive efficiency and consistency in operational HR processes across the region by identifying opportunities for streamlining workflows, standardizing procedures, and implementing best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications (What you’ll need to be successful):

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven 8-10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role in manufacturing.

Experience in a multi-site HR management role.

Demonstrated experience in policy implementation, payroll execution, benefits support, and employee engagement.

Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of payroll systems and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated ability to support HR policy implementation and improvement in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Deep understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on tasks effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex employee relations issues.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Ability to travel across the Southeast division region regularly, with approximately 25% (+/-) travel required.

The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and relevant education and training.
