What's Exciting About The Role
This role puts you at the center of the employee experience at one of the world's leading payments technology companies. You'll be a trusted partner to employees and managers, helping shape the moments that matter most across the full employee lifecycle. The scope is genuinely international: you'll collaborate with colleagues and navigate employment requirements across multiple countries, building international HR expertise that sets you apart. Day-to-day, you'll work cross-functionally with HR Managers, Payroll, HR Tech, and business leaders, giving you broad visibility into how a complex organization operates. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries, responding in a timely, professional, and customer‑focused manner.
- Manage the offer process and pre‑onboarding, including generating offer letters, coordinating pre‑hire documentation and candidate information required for offer generation, and ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to hire.
- Coordinate and analyze background check results by working with the background check vendor and managing other pre‑employment requirements.
- Manage employment eligibility and right‑to‑work verification processes, including country‑specific requirements (e.g., Form I‑9 in the United States).
- Support new hire benefits administration, including enrollment assistance and documentation.
- Process employee lifecycle transactions, including job changes, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and other updates related to employment status.
- Process and manage offboarding activities, including voluntary and involuntary terminations, ensuring all documentation, benefit unenrollment, updates, and required notifications are completed.
- Administer contingent worker processes, including onboarding, extensions, and terminations, ensuring proper documentation and updates are completed.
- Manage employment verification requests and coordinate responses in accordance with company policy.
- Provide leave administration support, including documentation tracking and coordination with employees, managers, and third‑party administrators, where applicable.
- Support benefits administration, including responding to general employee inquiries and processing benefit changes.
- Process referral bonus requests and ensure appropriate approvals and payroll coordination.
- Coordinate closely with Payroll to ensure employee data changes impacting pay, benefits, or employment status are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue employee letters and certificates.
- Create, update, and maintain HR process documentation and employee‑facing guides.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline HR operations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, service level agreements, internal controls, and documented processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience We Desire
- 3+ years of experience in an HR coordinator, HR operations, or similar role.
- Solid working knowledge of core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and benefits administration.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar) with strong attention to data accuracy.
- Experience coordinating background checks and managing pre-employment screening workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach to employee and manager inquiries.
- High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Organized self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Collaborative by nature, with a track record of building effective relationships across teams and functions.
- Exposure to multi-country or international HR practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
