Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator provides comprehensive operational and administrative support across core HR functions, with a strong focus on data accuracy, payroll coordination, HR systems administration, and employee support. This role serves as a first point of contact for HR related inquiries, supports employee lifecycle processes, and ensures timely, accurate execution of HR and payroll activities in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

General tasks

  • Provide day to day administrative support to the HR department, ensuring high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee records, ensuring regulatory, retention and data integrity.

  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, changes, and terminations.

  • Submit required employee and payroll changes (new hires, terminations, salary or other changes).

  • Ensure completeness of new hire documentation and follow up with employees to resolve missing or inaccurate information.

  • Record and coordinate deductions related to unreturned company property.

  • Manage offboarding activities, including exit coordination and collection of company property (keys, badges, equipment, clothing, footwear).

  • Distribute required payroll documents to terminated employees.

  • Maintain payroll related documentation including salary deductions, pension contributions, benefit records, performance based rates, and third party contributions (e.g., Edenred).

  • Manage payroll related garnishments and insolvency cases:

  • Maintain responsibility for the attendance and time tracking system

  • Resolve attendance discrepancies and ambiguities with employees and managers.

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly attendance closing.

  • Download, record, and reconcile sick notes through the relevant government portal (e.g., ČSSZ ePortal).

  • Resolve unclear or missing sick leave records with employees.

  • Manually enter sick leave data into the attendance system as required.

Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role with experiences 1-3 years.

  • Proficiency in HRIS – Workday Preferred as advantage

  • English language at a communicative level

  • Demonstrated track record of supporting payroll, time and attendance, HR administration, and employee queries.

  • Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Working knowledge of payroll processes, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle management.

  • Familiarity with compliance requirements related to payroll, attendance, and sick leave reporting.
