HR Coordinator - The HR Coordinator is responsible for attracting, onboarding, engaging, and retaining talent while administering key HR programs and processes. This role serves as a strategic partner to employees and managers, helping foster an exceptional employee experience and a strong workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Talent Acquisition through LinkedIn, job boards, college recruiting, internships, career fairs, and community outreach programs.
- Build and Promote Employer Brand by showcasing employee achievements, workplace culture, community involvement, and career opportunities across social media platforms.
- Drive Employee Engagement & Recognition through events, milestone celebrations, employee programs, and culture-building initiatives.
- Manage Onboarding & Orientation to ensure new employees are welcomed, integrated, and set up for success from day one.
- Administer Core HR Processes including employee records, benefits administration, leave management, payroll coordination, and compliance reporting.
- Support Employee Development & Retention by partnering with managers on training, performance management, and employee retention strategies.
- Serve as an HR Resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and employee programs.
- Maintain HR Compliance through accurate recordkeeping, EEO reporting, regulatory requirements, and company policy administration.
- Partner with Leadership & Corporate HR to support staffing, organizational initiatives, employee relations, and business objectives.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus 3-5 years
- Interpersonal savvy – relates well with all people
- Builds rapport and effective relations and uses diplomacy and tact. Confidentiality is crucial
- Approachability – is easy to approach and talk to; is a good listener
- Action Oriented – enjoys working hard, and is action oriented
