Job DescriptionThe HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department at the home office. This position is responsible for assisting with HR administrative tasks, team member life cycle activities and HR programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism while going above and beyond to provide the highest quality customer service to both our internal and external customers.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process for team members including new hire orientation, building tour, processing of new hires or separations within HRIS system
- Serve as a first point of contact for team member questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date team member records in HRIS
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local posting and minimum wage requirements for all locations
- Work closely with the total rewards and HRIS team on various projects as needed
- Assist in gathering HR related documents to subpoenas, audits, etc.
- Coordinate team member engagement initiatives, recognition programs and home office events
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed, including but not limited to new hire, EEO or OES reporting
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 1-3 years Human Resources and administrative experience preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of integrity
- Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of team members and management
