This is a full-time, entry-level Coordinator position in our Recruitment, Selection, and Outreach Division for candidates interested in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or Operations. The role is based in San Antonio and will be a mixture of in-person work and remote work.  Suitable candidates should be able to commute to North San Antonio, TX at least three times per week. Base compensation for this role ranges from $45k-$55k annually (commensurate with experience).

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Assist with GDBA’s recruiting operations, including but not limited to:
    • Post new jobs to GDBA's website and job boards;
    • Schedule and facilitate video conference, webcam, and in-person interviews; 
    • Manage our application management database.
  • Organize logistics for departmental events, including facilities coordination, travel arrangements, and schedule management.
  • Work directly with our Manager to ensure operational success.
  • Compile and present monthly reports, as needed.
  • Provide administrative support and assist with other division projects, as needed.

Skills Required

  • Ability to commute to North San Antonio, TX at least three times per week (hybrid role)
  • Proficient and well-organized use of Google Drive or OneDrive
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience managing an applicant/application management database or basic Applicant Tracking System functionality
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, scheduling, and multitasking abilities
  • Prior experience as an assistant (anticipating needs, proactive support)
  • Comfort with outreach activities such as cold calling, public speaking, or interacting with candidates
  • Interest in or prior exposure to recruiting/talent acquisition
