JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a detail-oriented and people-focused professional looking to grow your career in Human Resources? We’re looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our employees throughout their journey with us—from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing background checks, facilitating pre-boarding and onboarding experiences, handling offboarding processes, and providing crucial HR administrative support.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough background checks on prospective employees, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and company standards.
  • Facilitate and monitor the background check process.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information throughout the background check process.
  • Conduct New Employee Orientation sessions to introduce new employees to the company.
  • Oversee the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and managing the separation process through the HRIS system.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies during the offboarding process.
  • Manage the HR email inbox, responding to inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and prioritize emails to ensure efficient workflow execution and communication.
  • Assist in maintaining employee records and updating HRIS database to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support HR initiatives by preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Skill in interpreting background check results and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Familiarity with workflow management tools to track the background check process.
  • Proficiency in conducting training presentations and materials.
  • Familiarity with Workday HRIS system for managing employee onboarding and separations.
  • Ability to prioritize and respond to inquiries effectively to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for report creation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional), or other HR-related certifications are a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)

  • Work is performed in a designated professional office workstation and environment.
  • Extensive use of office equipment and other business-related machines and software.
