We are seeking an HR Coordinator with experience supporting leave and accommodation programs in a multi-state or nationwide environment. This role also provides administrative support to the department and serves as a key point of contact for employees and leadership. The successful candidate will have experience managing HR communications and delivering exceptional customer service while effectively addressing inquiries and concerns. Position reports directly to the Leaves and Accommodations HRBP.
This is a remote position. Ideal candidates will be in the Southeastern United States and available to work during East Coast hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all Leaves and Accommodations responsibilities, to include daily maintenance of LOA system and coordinating communications with Leadership and HR Team as needed
- Manage the HR and Leaves inbox, including responding to employee inquiries and routing messages to the appropriate individuals in a timely and professional manner
- Provide administrative support to the VP, HR
- Assist in preparing HR-related reports, documents, and presentations
- Help plan and execute Team events and training sessions
- Perform other general administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience with Leaves administration and demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State and local Leaves entitlements, to include ADA, FMLA and other relevant Federal and State-specific regulations
- 2-3 years of experience supporting an HR Manager or higher within an HR department
- Ability to address all communications with professionalism, ensuring a positive overall experience for Leadership and employees alike
- Required to practice discretion and confidentiality with all HR matters and inquiries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational abilities and exceptional attention to detail
- Must be able to efficiently manage multiple priorities, applications, and communication channels while working independently in a fast-paced remote environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) and HRIS systems
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and a proactive approach to all assigned tasks
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment law, HR Certification is a bonus
PAY RANGE:
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $20.08 - $30.06 per hour
