At Indypendence Job Corps, our HR Coordinators play a crucial role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee services, and daily Human Resources operations, all while contributing to a positive workplace culture.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Provide administrative support for Human Resources operations, ensuring the confidentiality of employee and applicant information
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job vacancies, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant records
  • Support onboarding processes by handling new hire paperwork, managing employee files, updating the HRIS, and overseeing benefits enrollment
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and HR documentation
  • Facilitate employee engagement activities, training initiatives, and recognition programs
  • Assist with compliance requirements and ensure adherence to HR procedures 
  • Provide professional support to employees, leadership, and various departments across the Center
  • Uphold integrity guidelines while promoting professionalism, accountability, and Career Success Standards

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)  
  • An Associate of Arts degree (preferred)
  • A minimum of two years of experience in human resources (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)  
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Human Resources certification (preferred)  
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of two years human resources experience required. Computer literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications required. Human Resources Certification preferred.
