The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Human Resources department, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures that the HR needs for all employees are met, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:

•    Assist with the full recruitment cycle for new hires, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
•    Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including completing paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring smooth integration into the company.
•    Maintain and update the employee database, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
 

Employee Relations and Engagement:
•    Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to the HR Director.
•    Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
 

HR Compliance and Recordkeeping:
•    Ensure proper maintenance of employee records and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, and other labor laws relevant to manufacturing.
•    Monitor and track employee training, ensuring all certifications (e.g., forklift, safety, etc.) are up to date.
•    Assist in the administration of the company’s safety programs and maintain compliance with safety protocols specific to the production environment.
•    Coordinate with the benefits administrator to facilitate open enrollment, manage employee benefits questions, and maintain accurate benefit records.
 

 Administrative Duties:
•    Organize and maintain HR files, both digital and physical, including employee records, certifications, and compliance documents.
•    Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, interviews, and other HR-related events.
•    Update HR Information board. 
 

Qualifications

•    High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
•    Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
•    Experience working in an HR role within the construction or manufacturing industries and bilingual preferred.
 

Skills Required
