HR Coordinator (12 month contract - Maternity Leave Cover)

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented, passionate and people-oriented HR Coordinator to join the team in our Berlin office. This role involves handling various HR-related tasks and ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes.

HR Operation Manager

What will you do?

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participation in current HR projects (eg. training documentation project, local policy updates, EOR)
• Responsibility over the onboarding and offboarding process for new hires and leavers
• General support for HR related tasks (eg. absenteeism tracking and monitoring, reference creation, benefits administration)
• Cooperating with other internal departments, such as IT, Procurement, Finance, etc., in order to make sure that the business activities run without interruptions
• Maintaining records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database during employee life cycle; including contract and files management
• Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and providing assistance
• Supporting internal and external relocations relations with vendor

Areas of work (to learn or have experience on):

• German Labor law
• Immigration legislation
• Employer of Record management and local legislation compliance (different countries)
• HR Vendor management
• Payroll

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor in administration/economics or equivalent, ideally with a focus on Human Resources or Administration
• 2-3 years in a similar position, ideally in the start-up environment
• Solid computer/IT skills (HRIS, Microsoft Office)
• Good Knowledge in English and German
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently
• Solid decision and problem solving making process
• Extremely service-oriented
• Multicultural background
