We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in a full-time, permanent role, based in Brisbane, supporting our Operations portfolio. This role partners with leaders across our operational business, supporting a broad and diverse client group within a dynamic environment.
In this role, you’ll thrive at the heart of a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment, working closely with leaders to deliver consistent, compliant, and practical HR solutions that make a real difference. As a key member of the leadership team, you will bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, influencing outcomes across geographically dispersed teams and complex operational environments.
What you’ll be doing:
Build strong trusted relationships with our business leaders whilst advising them on policies, processes, and award interpretation to ensure fair and consistent decisions.
Coach and grow leaders to confidently manage performance, behaviour, and team culture, enabling us to continue being recognised as a great place to work.
Drive a safety-first culture whilst oversee workforce and safety-related processes.
Deliver performance and talent initiatives, supporting reviews, succession planning, and development pathways as we continue to build a world class culture.
Enhance employee experience, culture and support change, embedding engagement initiatives and new ways of working.
What you’ll need:
We are hoping our new team member will bring the following:
Degree in Human Resources / Business or related discipline
Relevant experience in a similar role
Proven experience managing performance and conduct matters
Demonstrated ability to coach leaders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with all employees
A pragmatic, commercially minded approach with strong problem-solving capability
A genuine desire to contribute strong relationship‑building skills to a business that thrives on connection
An interest in making a meaningful difference and supporting a great team, while having fun along the way
